Fay Skinner, a soprano with RCS, chooses her discs to take to a desert island.

My Man – Funny Girl (Barbra Streisand) - This was the song I chose for my one and only solo back in 6th form.

Epilogue – Les Misérables (10th Anniversary edition) My all-time favourite musical!

Marry Me a Little – Company (Rosalie Craig) I was lucky enough to see the new West End production of Company which had gender-swapped the lead to a female Bobbie. I could talk for hours about this production, the cast, the stage, the music, the whole show was just so powerful and an absolute honour to watch.

I am Changing – Dreamgirls When I saw this in 2017, I remember the whole theatre being electric and hanging on to Effie’s every note. There is so much power and emotion in every one of her solos.

Me and Your Momma – Childish Gambino This is the first track on his latest album Awaken, My Love! and it’s one hell of an opening. The whole album is a completely new sound, unlike any of his previous work and it has to be listened to in full.

White Blank Page – Mumford and Sons One of my favourite bands and definitely on my bucket list to see live!

Barefoot in The Park – James Blake James’ new album. Assume Form has been on repeat non-stop for me this past month, and every time I listen to it still find something new in each of his songs. His voice is incredible!

Open Your Eyes – Snow Patrol Snow Patrol were the soundtrack to my childhood, it’s hard to pick just one song but this one is definitely one of their best.
